ICA Technician (Instrumentation Control)
Overview of Role
They will be part of the Asset Team and report to the Asset Manager.
Responsible for the management and maintenance of instrumentation and control processes to improve performance and minimise operating cost. They will deal with all programming of SCADA for set points and production plans.
Key Accountability n Managing all ICA planned and reactive tasks
n Maintaining assets and asset condition registers, including management of work carried out by ICA service providers
n Provide input to Ship 2 Port programme for WMS tasks and consumables
n Movement and storage of strategic ICA spares
n Ensure assets are operated to avoid environmental and public health nuisance
n ensure sites meet all required standards
n Identify and report shortfalls in the process and control equipment
n Responsibility for input into and updating of IMS and site safety files
n Ensure a safe working environment
n Input to support asset planning tools
n participate in the operation of out-of-hours emergency standby cover
Qualifications and Experience Qualified to a minimum degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate the following:
n Successful working experience of day to day maintenance of ICA equipment for potable water production or similar related industry equivalent
n A thorough understanding of asset management and maintenance practices with preferable first hand experience
n Experience with working with supply chains and successful delivery of a partnering ethos
n A thorough understanding and working experience of production industry processes
n An understanding of regulatory and DWI processes
n A successful track record of team working and delivery of stretched targets
